I bought the car from a friend Rejan Sayak in May 2004. It was an insurance write-off which he bought for the drivetrain. The car was in too nice to part out. Having recently seperated from my long term relationship and loosing my vehicle I needed something easy to fix and drive. The New Yorker was that ticket.

One trunk lid and some tailights later and I was riding in style. The car is driven daily. It has approximately 110 000km's on it (estimated it rolled over once).
