Samuel McCumpsey's 1978 New Yorker Brougham

Webmaster's Pick - Favorite car on the New Yorker Online web site

My father bought this car new off the lot. Dad was in a celebrating mood after that and had rather a lot to drink. I was ok with that since I had just turned 16 and gotten my licence, I drove the car home from the dealership. I didnt drive the car again until Dad passed away two weeks ago. There it was in his garage, lovingly cared for all these years....with just under 52000 miles on it. There is one scratch just above the passenger side fender skirt, other than that it is just about perfect. The radio is the electronic tuning type and has died and the plastic part that connects the wiper motor to the wiper arm is broken. Anyone who can help with those parts please e-mail me.
