Joe Bachan's 1976 New Yorker Brougham

I have a 1976 Chrysler NYB. I've been looking for one for nearly 20 years since I sold my 1976 newport custom in 1983. I saw this one at an auto show (a chevy and corvet show of all places) it was the same color as my old newport white/maroon top, was being sold by the grandson of the original owner who passed way years ago and has been garage kept ever since (the car, not the original owner). It has 47k original miles and is beautiful. Except for the radio antenna it is all original (I'm looking for an antenna). My wife really didn't want me to buy it at the show. So, I gave the guy my card and told him to call me if he didn't sell it. I then made a deal with my wife that if it came to me I hade to buy it. She caved. On the monday after the show the guy called me and agreed to drive it to my house so that I could look at it again. He brought the original window sticker, bill of sale, copy of his grandpa's title, copy of the title when he switched it his name after his grandpa died and the original shop manuals (never used). End of story; I added on to the garage.

Thank you for your time.

Joe
