Brad Hogg's 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Turbo Diesel

It came time to sell my two 1998 diesel pickups and consolidate into one pickup. I decided to look for a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins Turbo Diesel truck with quad cab, full 8' bed, 4 x 4 and a manual Getrag six speed manual transmission. A truck wtih this combination of specifications is a rather rare truck. It appears that if it's a long bed, it's an automatic transmission and if it's a standard transmission, it's a short bed. I found this unit at a dealer in Phoenix, AZ and had it delivered to me in Canada. The truck looked great but needed a few mechanical repairs as the mileage was high. There was nothing seriously wrong, just wear items such as water pump, wheel bearings, serpentine belt tensioner and a few other items. Overall I really like this truck. I thought my old 1998 24V Cummins trucks had lots of power but this one has WAY more power. I'm not a huge fan of that thoug, more power always = more fuel burned. This truck gets me about 20 mpg so I'm content.
